Prepositions are words usually followed by a noun or a pronoun, which are the object of the preposition. If the preposition is followed by a pronoun, we use the object form. When a preposition is placed before a verb, the verb is normally in the -ing form. Prepositions can refer to place, time, movement, means of transport, etc.
